About Anne Schmitz
“I’m here to help. What can I do?”
I have been obsessed with Customer Service since the age of 5, selling Girl Scout Cookies door to door. My official dive into event planning started in high school, planning fundraisers, school events, and even live shows where my natural talent for organization and management came alive. Since then, I has worked for over 9 years as a professional at such venues as Walt Disney World, the Hyatt Regency – Columbus, and the Greater Columbus Convention Center, as an integral part of the hospitality and events departments. It was having my daughter in 2017 that had me re-evaluate working for another team and instead created my own events company to focus on individual events and making fairy tales (like yours) come true. Regarding Events was born in 2019.
I spend my time volunteering with the Highest Awards Review Committee at the Girl Scouts of Ohio’s Heartland Council and participates in the Pop, Water, and Ice Committee with the Dublin Irish Festival. I live with my husband and daughter in Hilliard, Ohio.
